College Park senior wide receiver Julian Cromartie caught nine passes for 217 yards and four touchdowns as the Cavaliers rolled past the Conroe Tigers 44-10 on Friday, Oct. 16.

The Clemson commit burned double coverage on a deep ball from quarterback Camden Hughes for his first score, according to Woodlands Online. Hughes found Cromartie again in the back of the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown that pushed the lead to 27-3 before halftime.

Cromartie kept going after the break. A 20-yard catch in the middle of the end zone made it 34-3.

Late in the third quarter, he went over the top of a defensive back to snag a 45-yard pass that set up another score. He took a hit on the play but returned and scored his fourth touchdown on a crossing route from Hughes to make it 41-3 early in the fourth quarter.

His final big play was a run after the catch in which he evaded multiple tacklers and moved College Park into field goal range. The Cavaliers converted to reach the final score.

College Park's offense piled up 481 yards and five touchdowns on the night.

Cromartie, a 6-foot-3 receiver who transferred to College Park from Mater Dei in San Diego before his junior year, now has 29 catches for 665 yards and 10 touchdowns through seven games. The Clemson Insider reported he entered the Conroe game with 20 catches, 448 yards and six scores. He added four touchdowns in a single night.

At the Touchdown Club of Houston's preseason dinner in August, Cromartie set a bold target. "Two thousand yards and 20 touchdowns, so that's my goal for this year," he told ABC13. He is roughly a third of the way to the yardage mark and halfway to the touchdown goal with at least three regular-season games left.

Cromartie is the son of Antonio Cromartie, a former NFL All-Pro cornerback who was a first-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in the 2006 draft, according to The Clemson Insider. The elder Cromartie played 11 NFL seasons.

The win moved College Park to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in District 13-6A, good for second place, according to MaxPreps. The Cavaliers have won two straight after a 39-7 loss to The Woodlands on Oct. 2.

Hughes and Cromartie were both named to the Touchdown Club of Houston's preseason All-Greater Houston team. Hughes threw five touchdown passes in the Cavaliers' 63-28 district-opening win over Willis on Sept. 25, and the pair has powered College Park's offense during its current streak.

The Cavaliers travel to Grand Oaks on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., then host Oak Ridge on Oct. 29 before closing the regular season at Caney Creek on Nov. 6.
