Fielding's Wood Grill on Research Forest Drive will close for a week of renovations starting Monday, Aug. 31, then reopen with a refreshed dining room, new menu items and a handcrafted cocktail program during a grand reopening brunch Sunday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m.

The closure runs through Saturday, Sept. 5, according to a press release published on Hello Woodlands. Brunch guests that Sunday will be among the first to see the updated space and sample the new beverage lineup.

"This remodel allows us to introduce exciting new flavors and a refreshed atmosphere while staying true to everything our guests have come to love about Fielding's Wood Grill," founder Cary Attar said in the announcement.

Attar did not disclose specific menu additions or design changes. The company said additional details would be announced closer to Labor Day weekend.

The restaurant group's sister concept, Fielding's Local Kitchen + Bar, sits steps away on Research Forest Drive. Attar developed Fielding's Local in partnership with the Howard Hughes Corporation when Creekside Village Center was still taking shape, and the restaurant is marking its tenth anniversary in 2026.

Fielding's Local will host a separate Labor Day celebration Monday, Sept. 7, beginning at 4 p.m., with holiday food and drink specials.

Reservations are recommended for both events.

Fielding's Wood Grill is located at 1966 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands. Specific menu and cocktail details for both restaurants have not yet been released.
