A 55-acre country club on Gosling Road in Spring is opening a signature restaurant this month, part of a broader renovation bringing new sports, dining and wellness amenities to a property minutes from The Woodlands.
The Spring Country Club, founded by Daniel Gómez Bilbao, announced the restaurant alongside a sweeping overhaul that will eventually include indoor and outdoor pools, a full-service spa and wellness retreat, tennis courts, social lounges and dedicated family spaces, according to Community Impact.
The restaurant will overlook the club's golf course. No name or menu concept has been released.
"Our vision has never been simply to renovate a golf course," Gómez Bilbao said. "We believe the modern country club should be more than a transactional relationship centered around sports and fitness. Too often, people arrive, use the facilities and leave. We're building the opposite, a place where people want to stay."
What's already on-site
The club's nine-hole course has a new irrigation system, redesigned holes and ongoing green renovations aimed at year-round playing conditions. A covered driving range equipped with TrackMan launch monitors, covered pickleball courts with a dedicated pro shop and an 18-hole disc golf course round out the outdoor offerings.
Nine covered and climate-controlled padel courts feature MejorSet's official Premier Padel court model. MejorSet, based in Crevillente, Spain, has been the International Padel Federation's official court supplier since 2020 and serves as the official Premier Padel court manufacturer through 2026. The company has installed more than 10,000 courts in over 70 countries.
Padel is a racquet sport played on an enclosed court roughly a third the size of a tennis court. The sport has been growing rapidly in the United States.
Inside, a fitness center features Technogym's new Sandstone Collection equipment. The club says it is one of the first U.S. locations to install the line, which debuted at the HFA Show in San Diego in March. Studios for yoga, Pilates and indoor cycling sit adjacent to the gym.
Membership and next steps
The Spring Country Club requires a membership. Its website, springcountryclub.com, was still in "coming soon" mode as of Aug. 7, displaying the tagline "Your New Country Club Experience Is Almost Here" and an email sign-up form for prospective members.
No specific opening date within August has been announced for the restaurant, and membership pricing has not been disclosed.
