The Woodlands Township is looking for local businesses to set up booths at this fall's Trick or Treat Trail, one of the community's largest Halloween events.
The free celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Rob Fleming Recreation Center, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, according to the Township's sponsorship package. The event draws more than 8,000 residents and visitors each year and features roughly 30 vendor booths where children trick-or-treat for goodies, plus strolling entertainment, carnival games, costume contests, inflatables, photo areas and food trucks.
Vendor applications opened Friday, Aug. 21, at 5 p.m. and close Wednesday, Oct. 14, according to a listing on Woodlands Online. Businesses can apply through the Township's online Cognito Forms page.
Sponsorship tiers
Five sponsorship levels are available:
- Presenting Sponsor ($10,000): Two 10x20 tents, six banner placements and a costume contest judge spot
- Bag Sponsor ($2,500): "Official Bag Sponsor" designation with the chance to distribute company-branded bags to attendees
- Costume Contest Sponsor ($2,000): Two company representatives serve as costume contest judges
- Supporting Sponsor ($1,500)
- Event Sponsor ($500): One 10x10 tent, one 3x6 banner display and PSA recognition
An in-kind sponsorship option is also available.
The event generated $6,000 in sponsorship revenue in 2025, double the $3,000 raised in 2024, according to Township financial records.

The Trick or Treat Trail is one of several Township Halloween offerings this fall. The Flashlight Candy Hunt returns to Terramont Park, 8500 Terramont Drive, on Oct. 8, 13, 20 and 28. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and bring a flashlight and trick-or-treat bag.
