Woodlands Township residents can start casting ballots Monday, Oct. 19, for four seats on the Board of Directors, with early voting running through Friday, Oct. 30.
The township announced the schedule in a press release. Positions 1, 2, 3 and 4 are all on the ballot. Each carries a two-year term and is elected at large.
Three of the four races are uncontested. Lee Wilson is the sole candidate for Position 1, Linda Nelson for Position 2 and Craig Eissler for Position 4, according to the township's filing announcement. Position 3 is the contested race, with Priscila Young, Nick Tran and Lisa Gilmore on the ballot.
Because The Woodlands straddles two counties, early voting hours differ depending on where you live.

What to bring
Texas law requires voters to present an approved photo ID. Accepted forms include a Texas driver license, Texas personal identification card, Texas handgun license, Texas election identification certificate, U.S. military ID, U.S. citizenship certificate or U.S. passport, according to VoteTexas.gov. Voters who lack a photo ID may fill out a Reasonable Impediment Declaration at the polls and present an alternative document such as a utility bill or voter registration certificate.
Election Day
Polls open Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all locations in both counties.
