The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a house fire in Oak Ridge North early Monday, Aug. 17, assisting the South Montgomery County Fire Department at a residence on Maplewood Drive.
The fire at 26703 Maplewood Drive was reported at 2:30 a.m., according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter. South County Fire, the primary agency for Oak Ridge North, responded first and called in The Woodlands Fire Department for assistance.
No information on injuries, the extent of damage or the cause of the fire had been released by either department as of Monday morning.
South Montgomery County Fire Department, also known as ESD 8, is the primary fire agency for Oak Ridge North and covers portions of Montgomery County Precincts 3 and 4.
