The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is retiring its Children's Festival and replacing it with Pavilion Palooza: World Tour on Nov. 7-8.
The reimagined two-day family music and arts festival runs Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, with seven world-music-themed zones, live performances and hands-on activities. Admission is $10 per person. Children 2 and under get in free.

The Pavilion said the event keeps the activities families have enjoyed for years while adding more live music, arts and hands-on programming. This year's theme, "World Tour," splits the grounds into zones inspired by countries, cultures and regions around the globe.
Seven themed zones
- Roots & Rhythms (Event Center) — bluegrass and zydeco performances on a Front Porch Stage, plus handmade crafts
- Palooza Playland (Event Center) — a toddler zone with inflatable soft play, bubble activities and a tiny instrument petting zoo
- Harmony Gardens (Pavilion Lawn) — Asian-inspired crafts including fabric ribbon kites, origami and parachute racing
- Island Sounds — tropical rides, inflatables, Hawaiian lei-making and hula hoop challenges
- Rhythm Village — African-inspired drum circles, space activities with Janet's Planet and an Instrument Petting Zoo powered by Ovintiv
- Plaza de la Música — mariachi performances, salsa lessons, maraca-making and activities from The Woodlands Children's Museum
- Melody Motorway (sponsored by Sewell) — a European-inspired zone where kids can climb on vehicles and honk horns
Main Stage lineup
Rock and Roll Playhouse headlines both days with interactive, kid-friendly sets covering music by Taylor Swift, Tom Petty, Bob Marley and The Beatles.
Saturday's schedule (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) also features Mixteco Ballet Folklorico, Taiko Drumming and Yellow Rose Cloggers between Rock and Roll Playhouse sets.
Sunday (noon to 5 p.m.) adds African Drum & Strum, My Hula Hut and Tripti's Bollywood. Performance times are subject to change.
Parking and tickets
Tickets are available on Ticketmaster. Preferred parking in the Town Center Garage along Six Pines Drive costs $10 per vehicle. Five free parking lots sit on the Pavilion's southwest side off Timberloch Place, connected by pathways across The Waterway.
