The WISE Conference returns to The Woodlands on Wednesday, Sept. 23, with a daylong lineup of speakers, networking and a small-business market for $99.

The conference, whose name stands for Women Inspiring Supporting Empowering, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Church Project, 602 Pruitt Rd., according to Woodlands Online. This year's theme is "Rooted and Rising: Building Strong Women, Families, Communities." A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Montgomery County, a nonprofit that has spent 25 years helping homeless families with children find stable housing.

KRBE-FM host Roula Christie will deliver the keynote. Christie hosts The Roula Show with Eric on Houston's 104.1 KRBE and was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2022. FOX 26 anchor and medical correspondent Melissa Wilson is also on the speaker roster, according to the conference's speakers page.

The breakout lineup skews local. Woodlands-based Tina Bernard, founder of The Badass Arts, is joined by Monica Daigneault, president and CEO of The Power of Us Network, and Dr. Tamara White, a burnout and resilience strategist.

Daigneault's session, "You Don't Need Reinvention. You Need Return," focuses on the idea that growth comes from returning to one's core strengths rather than starting over. White's session, "Rooted in Purpose, Rising Without Burnout," tackles what she calls a common trap. "Burnout isn't a badge of honor," White said on the conference site.

Beyond the stage, the event features a Small Business Market where local vendors can showcase products. Vendor booth slots are still available at $250 each. Sponsorship packages range from a $250 "Friend of WISE" level to a $5,000 keynote speaker slot.

Family Promise of Montgomery County, this year's charity beneficiary, celebrated its 25th anniversary earlier in 2026. The organization supports homeless families with children across the county.
