A three-vehicle crash on westbound Woodlands Parkway near Forest Gate on Monday, Oct. 5, sent one person to the hospital and spilled paint across the roadway.
The Woodlands Fire Department and the Montgomery County Hospital District (MCHD) responded at about 10 a.m., according to Woodlands Online. Engine 105 arrived first and found a dump truck and two pickup trucks in the westbound lanes just east of Forest Gate.
One pickup sustained major damage.
Paramedics evaluated three people at the scene. One was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The identities and conditions of those involved have not been released.
Firefighters then worked to contain a large paint spill from one of the vehicles. Woodlands Online did not specify which vehicle carried the paint. Crews from Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner Ritch Wheeler's office arrived to clean the roadway.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating the collision.
