Big Blue Marble Academy Falconwing is hosting a free Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at 10601 Falconwing Drive in The Woodlands.
The event is open to the entire community. Families do not need to be enrolled at the school to attend.
Children can climb aboard real fire trucks, cool off with shaved ice from Kona Ice, and explore the campus by playing games set up in each classroom. The school said in its event listing that the bash is meant to celebrate the end of summer with the neighborhood.
Big Blue Marble Academy at Falconwing offers preschool, daycare, and childcare programs for infants through school-age children. The campus is inviting neighbors to tour the facility during the event while children move through the classroom activities.
Days before school starts
The bash falls four days before Conroe ISD's first day of school on Wednesday, August 12. The district's Board of Trustees approved the 2026–2027 calendar at its January 20 meeting. Teachers report Monday, August 3.
