Dozens of fall programs across The Woodlands are now open for registration, and the Township says popular spots fill fast.
The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department launched registration Monday, Aug. 10, for its full Fall 2026 Activity Guide lineup on a first-come, first-served basis. The guide spans all ages and covers sports, aquatics, outdoor adventures, enrichment classes, tennis, pickleball and holiday celebrations.
Highlighted programs include Concert in the Park, Family Bingo Night, Winter Makers Market, Creekside Campout, Halloween events, Sunny Dayz Holiday Break Camps and activities at Texas TreeVentures and The Woodlands Boat House.
Texas TreeVentures, the three-level aerial adventure course with nearly 100 challenge elements inside Rob Fleming Park, offers two-hour climb sessions at $30 for ages 6–12 and $40 for ages 13 and up. The course sits adjacent to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve.
The Township said in its press release that many programs have limited space and fill quickly, encouraging residents to explore the guide early and build their fall schedule. The Parks and Recreation Department called fall "the perfect time to get involved" for residents seeking a new hobby, outdoor adventure or family tradition.

Residents who registered for youth basketball leagues earlier this month will find those programs alongside the broader fall slate. The next community event on the Township calendar is the free Coffee with a Cop gathering set for Aug. 18 on Research Forest Drive.
