The Woodlands Farmers Market returns Saturday, Aug. 15, giving residents a free, family-friendly reason to start the weekend outdoors at Grogan's Mill Shopping Center.
More than 60 vendors will line the parking area at 7 Switchbud Place, selling fresh produce, farm-fresh meat, prepared foods, beverages, artisan crafts and more. The market is sponsored by the Grogan's Mill Village Association and runs every Saturday, rain or shine.
Gates open at 9 a.m., with summer hours running through noon. No tickets, no wristbands, no cover charge.
Free music Friday and Saturday
Back Table, at 2301 N. Millbend Drive, hosts free live music both nights this weekend. Carretta Bell performs Friday, Aug. 14, and Seth Duty takes the stage Saturday, Aug. 15. Both shows begin at 6 p.m. with no admission charge, according to Community Impact.
