Ten percent of every purchase at J. Crew in Market Street – The Woodlands will go to In the Pink of Health during a two-day shopping fundraiser on Friday, Aug. 14, and Saturday, Aug. 15.
The "Shop for a Cause" event starts at 10 a.m. both days at the store, located at 9595 Six Pines Drive. The event ends at 6 p.m. Saturday; a Friday closing time was not listed. Shoppers can expect complimentary drinks, sweets and additional surprises during the event, according to Market Street's event listing. An RSVP page is live at jcrewxinthepinkofhealth26.splashthat.com.
The donation is calculated on pre-tax totals.
Where the money goes
In the Pink of Health is a Memorial Hermann-affiliated nonprofit founded in 2001 that funds breast and ovarian cancer programs across Montgomery County. The organization has invested more than $9.7 million in community services since its founding, according to Hello Woodlands.
Its 2025 annual luncheon raised $600,000, distributed to five local partners: the Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, Interfaith Community Clinic for no-cost mammograms, the Melissa Preston Breast Care Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, The Rose and Ovarcome.
"We don't take out administrative costs from the funds we raise — they are fully underwritten by the hospital," Linda Nelson, director of business development at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and director of the Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, told Hello Woodlands in March when the organization announced its latest investments.
That means every dollar raised at events like the J. Crew fundraiser goes directly to programs.
Jamie Bolt and Nicole Preston are serving their second year as co-chairs of In the Pink of Health in 2026.
How to participate
No purchase minimum has been announced. Shoppers simply buy at J. Crew during store hours on Aug. 14 or Aug. 15 and the 10% donation is applied automatically.
