YES to YOUTH is bringing its annual Maggert Golf Tournament back to The Woodlands Country Club on Nov. 9, raising money for youth crisis services across Montgomery County.
The four-person scramble runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Tournament Course at 1730 S. Millbend Drive. Individual spots cost $175, and a four-person team is $3,000, according to the nonprofit's registration page. A discounted team rate of $2,500 is also available.
Players get food from Woodlands-area restaurants, beverages on the course and a swag bag, according to the event listing on Woodlands Online.
Proceeds go directly to YES to YOUTH's programs: crisis intervention, mental health counseling, suicide prevention and the BridgeWay Youth Shelter. The shelter serves children ages 10 to 17 who have experienced abuse, trafficking and homelessness.
All services are free to families. The nonprofit funds its work through grants, fundraising events and community donations.
YES to YOUTH, led by CEO Michele Kooken, has operated in Montgomery County for more than 47 years. The organization earned recognition as the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions Charity of the Year, according to the Insperity Invitational, which lists The Maggert among its supported local tournaments.
Businesses and individuals looking to make a larger commitment can choose from several sponsorship tiers. A presenting sponsorship runs $25,000, platinum costs $20,000, gold is $10,000 and silver is $5,000.
