The Signorelli Company landed the No. 4 spot on Fortune's 2026 Best Workplaces in Real Estate list, marking the first time the Woodlands-headquartered developer has appeared on the national ranking.
The list, produced by Great Place To Work using its Trust Index survey, measures how employees rate their company's leadership, fairness and culture. Signorelli placed fourth in the Small and Medium company category, behind NetWorth Realty, The Garrett Companies and Rhodes Enterprises, according to the Great Place To Work rankings.
The privately owned firm has about 200 employees and manages 16 planned communities across Greater Houston. Its homebuilding division, First America Homes, ranks No. 75 on Zonda's Builder 100 list and expanded into the Dallas-Fort Worth, Central Texas and San Antonio markets, according to an Aug. 6 press release distributed through Yahoo Finance.
Danny Signorelli, the company's founder and CEO, said the recognition reflects the people behind the business.
"This recognition belongs to the people who create that culture every day," Signorelli said in an Oct. 12 announcement.
Signorelli said the company emphasizes team-building, regular recognition for employee achievements, advancement opportunities and charitable giving. The firm describes itself as one of the largest privately owned real estate developers in Texas.
The ranking arrives during a growth stretch for the developer. Signorelli's largest current project is Austin Point, a 6,400-acre master-planned development in Fort Bend County where residential construction is already underway. The company's pipeline includes more than 23,000 lots and 1.5 million square feet of commercial and retail space, according to the Aug. 6 press release.
Signorelli has collected other workplace honors, including spots on the Houston Chronicle's Top Workplaces list and the Houston Business Journal's Best Places to Work list. The Fortune ranking, however, represents the company's first appearance on a national workplace list in the real estate sector.
