The Woodlands Township's free Trick or Treat Trail returns Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center from 1 to 5 p.m.

Children can dress in costume and trick-or-treat from booth to booth, collecting goodies from local vendors. The afternoon also features carnival games, strolling entertainment, photo areas and food trucks, according to the Township's parks page.

The event is free.

Five costume contests run throughout the afternoon at 1:15, 2, 2:45, 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. Each contest caps at 50 participants, and kids may enter only one. Prizes go to the top three costumes and the top group costume in each round. Texas Children's Hospital–The Woodlands is the official costume contest sponsor. Terzetto Construction and True Line Roofing and Exteriors are also listed as 2026 event sponsors.

Local businesses and organizations still have time to set up a booth. The Township said on its Facebook page that vendor applications are due Wednesday, Oct. 14. Details and the application are available at thewoodlandsparks.com.

The recreation center lot will be closed to public parking during the event. Overflow lots are open at Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, Risen Church North, Creekside Forest Elementary School and Lone Star College–Creekside Center at 8747 W. New Harmony Trail. Shuttles run from Lone Star College approximately every 15 minutes, with the first bus leaving at 12:30 p.m. and the last bus departing Rob Fleming at 6 p.m. All shuttle buses are ADA compliant. Pets are not permitted on shuttles, except service animals.

The Township has held the Trick or Treat Trail annually since at least 2019, according to sponsorship records. Residents with questions can email [email protected] or call 281-516-7348.
