A free college fair featuring 30 Christian universities comes to The Woodlands Christian Academy on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Houston Area (North) Christian College Fair runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the academy's campus, 5800 Academy Way. The event is open to the public.
Families can meet admissions representatives, ask questions, explore academic programs and learn about scholarships. The fair is part of a national circuit organized by the North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP), according to the coalition's website.
Registered schools as of early September include Texas institutions such as Abilene Christian University, Dallas Baptist University, Houston Christian University and LeTourneau University. National participants include Biola University, Wheaton College, Grove City College and Liberty University, among others.
Jamie Spikerman, TWCA's communications coordinator, wrote in the academy's announcement that the event is meant for the broader community. "This is a wonderful opportunity for high school students and their families throughout our community, so feel free to invite friends, neighbors, church families, and homeschool families to join us," Spikerman said.
Amy Rowe is coordinating the fair. Families with questions can reach her at [email protected] or 936-273-2555, ext. 1324.
