The Woodlands Highlanders rolled past Grand Oaks 68-48 on Friday, Oct. 30, locking up their sixth straight district win and moving one game from the District 13-6A title.
College Park handled Oak Ridge 55-7 the night before. Both Woodlands-area schools are playoff-bound, and the district's remaining postseason drama now sits squarely on a Week 11 collision between Willis and Conroe, according to Woodlands Online.
Here is where the district stands after Week 10: The Woodlands leads at 6-0, College Park sits second at 5-1, Willis and Conroe are knotted in the middle at 4-2 and 3-3 respectively, and Grand Oaks also sits at 3-3. Oak Ridge (2-4), Caney Creek (1-5) and Cleveland (0-6) round out the bottom.
Willis beat Caney Creek 59-7 on Friday. Conroe topped Cleveland 62-14 the same night. A Willis win in Week 11 would secure the Wildkats a playoff berth. A Conroe upset could shake up the final seeding picture for multiple teams.
