More than 50 live music shows fill at least seven Woodlands-area venues between mid-September and Halloween. Community Impact published a fall guide on Saturday, Sept. 5, listing dates across the area, and the season begins as early as Friday, Sept. 11.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive anchors the schedule with 20 concerts. Mötley Crüe opens the fall stretch on Friday, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. Other headliners include Mumford & Sons on Oct. 1, ZZ Top and Cheap Trick at Eagle Fest on Oct. 3, Brad Paisley on Oct. 8, Babymetal on Sept. 25 and MercyMe on Halloween night. Rock the Row returns to Hughes Landing, 1900 Hughes Landing Blvd., with three Thursday-evening shows in October. The Brandon McDermott Band plays Oct. 15, the Jerry Rowell Band plays Oct. 22 and Southern Wind closes the series Oct. 29. All three start at 7 p.m.
Market Street's Fall Concert Series runs Thursdays, Sept. 17 through Oct. 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at 9595 Six Pines Drive, according to Hello Woodlands. The free series opens with Danny Ray & Atlantic Street Band and wraps with Little Queen, a Heart tribute act.
Dosey Doe-The Big Barn at 25911 I-45 in Spring has more than 20 dates on its fall calendar. Pat Green plays Oct. 1, Mark Chesnutt on Oct. 2, the Red Hot Chili Pipers bring their Celtic rock show Oct. 9 and Easton Corbin closes out Halloween night. The Woodlands Jazz Knights take the stage Oct. 26. Tickets and showtimes are listed on Dosey Doe's website.
Smaller Woodlands venues round out the options. Como Social Club at 2 Waterway Square Place hosts Luke Whitney on Sept. 25 and Javier Gonzalez on Sept. 26, both at 9 p.m. The Back Table Kitchen & Bar at 2301 N. Millbend Drive features Becca Ciribelli on Sept. 25 and Caretta Bell on Sept. 26, both at 6 p.m. Cellar 24 at 6700 Woodlands Parkway books Friday-night acts through October, starting with Duane Dulane on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.
