The Woodlands Ice Rink at Town Center opens Nov. 20, launching a holiday season packed with lights, skating and swan boats along the Waterway.

The Woodlands Township shared its November events calendar on social media, highlighting the rink opening and Holiday on the Waterway as anchor attractions for the weeks ahead.

Ice Rink at Town Center

The seasonal rink opens Friday, Nov. 20, and runs through Jan. 18, 2027, according to Visit The Woodlands. Two-hour sessions cost $15, per Visit The Woodlands. The rink hosts birthday parties, date nights, disco dance parties and sensory-friendly gatherings.

Holiday on the Waterway

The Woodlands Waterway transforms into a light display stretching more than a mile and a half, from Waterway Square to Grogan's Mill Road. The display features over one million lights, according to Hello Woodlands. It is free to walk.

Holiday on the Waterway runs Saturday, Nov. 21, through Jan. 3, 2027. Visitors can stroll the sidewalk, ride a complimentary Town Center Trolley or rent a swan boat to see the lights from the water.

The Township's social media post referred to the event as "Holiday on the Waterway–powered by Entergy."

Lighting of the Doves

The Lighting of the Doves festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Town Green Park. The event includes international performances, snow play, children's activities, vendors and a visit from Santa, according to Hello Woodlands. The evening ends with the ceremonial lighting of the doves and a fireworks display.

Starlight Swans

Glowing swan pedal boats return to the Waterway on two November dates. Sessions run Friday, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., according to The Woodlands Parks. Each boat fits up to four people and costs $50. Grand Trolley Reveal

The Woodlands Township introduces six new Town Center trolleys at a Grand Trolley Reveal on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Southside Trolley Stop. The new trolleys feature refreshed graphics and names inspired by community submissions through the Trolley Naming Contest held earlier this year, per Hello Woodlands.
