A $10 ticket buys a full day of live music, workshops and eight themed activity zones when Pavilion Palooza takes over The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8.
That single price covers all performances and activities across the grounds, according to My Neighborhood News. Tickets are sold separately for each day through the Pavilion's website.
Presented by Texas Children's, the festival fills the Pavilion at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive with zones for toddlers, elementary-age kids and older siblings. Saturday hours run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday opens at noon and closes at 5 p.m.
The 2026 theme is "World Tour." Children can explore music and traditions from multiple cultures, including African drumming, Japanese taiko, Bollywood dance, hula and ballet folklórico.
Main Stage
The Rock and Roll Playhouse headlines the Main Stage with kid-friendly concerts built around music by The Beatles, Bob Marley, Prince, Rihanna and Tom Petty. Saturday's schedule opens at 11 a.m. with Beatles for Kids. Sunday's lineup starts at 12:30 p.m. with My Hula Hut and runs through 4:30 p.m.
Kaminari Taiko of Houston, Spotlight Academy Bollywood and Mixteco Ballet Folklorico round out the performance schedule. The Pavilion notes the lineup is preliminary and times may change.
Eight zones across the grounds
Palooza Playland is built for toddlers. It features soft play, inflatables, a bubble-catching area, a music wall and a miniature instrument petting zoo. A changing and nursing station will be available.
Rhythm Village mixes music with hands-on discovery, where kids can join African drum circles, try the Instrument Petting Zoo and explore interactive stations run by Woodlands Robotics, Janet's Planet and Little Beakers.
Roots & Rhythms centers on American music at the Front Porch Stage, with bluegrass, zydeco and banjo performances plus paper plate banjo crafts and a community patchwork quilt project.
Other zones include Plaza de la Música with mariachi and carnival mask crafts, Island Sounds with ukulele play and limbo challenges, Harmony Gardens with ribbon kites and origami, and Melody Motorway with a European-style vehicle display and accordion music.
